Flaky, lightly sweet, and perfect with coffee. That's these! They are great served at tea times and so easy to pull together. Plus, they are insanely forgiving when it comes to how far ahead of time you can make the dough up! 

 

Do I need to use discard or active starter?

Good news: it doesn't matter. Either one will work perfectly fine. Use what you have.
